‘The Walking Dead’s 100th Episode Will Have You Begging for ‘Mercy’

Fans of The Walking Dead have been waiting anxiously to find out what the title and synopsis of the 100th episode would be, especially after the build up for season 8 so far. The cast and crew have been giving us peeks into the season, without giving away too much, and it’s all been almost mouthwatering. There will be an ‘all-out war’, there will be explosions, there will be more negan, more death, and more fire – both literally and metaphorically.

The season opener and 100th episode will be titled ‘Mercy’ and the official synopsis is as below.

‘Rick and his group, along with the Kingdom and Hilltop, have banded together to bring the fight to Negan and the Saviors.’

Just days ago, the entire synopsis for season 8 was released and went more in-depth with what we can expect in the upcoming episodes, but we do hope that, by the end of the episode, the Saviors are begging for mercy.

While many fans will be watching the season opener at home, some lucky fans have won tickets to the premiere at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. We’re not anticipating an overly violent season opener, nor facing any immediate loses, but it’ll be awesome to watch the premiere with the biggest fans of The Walking Dead and the cast and crew anyway.

‘Mercy’ premieres on October 22nd on AMC.
