The Supernatural Cast is Raising Money for Hurricane Harvey and You can Help Too

As Hurricane Harvey continues to devastate the state of Texas, people all around the country are trying hard to send help in any way possible. Many celebrities are trying to help too by asking fans to donate to organizations providing assistance to Texas or to their own charities/businesses which will give those proceeds to aid in hurricane relief.

Two of those celebrities are part of a fan base notorious for charity projects and organizations that aim to help those around the world in whatever ways possible. That fan base is the Supernatural fan base and Misha Collins and Jensen Ackles are two of the most giving celebrities out there.

When the pair heard what damage had been done by Hurricane Harvey, they immediately got to work organizing a way to raise money for victims of the natural disaster and so far, their goal hasn’t just been met, it’s been surpassed.

The two teamed up with Jensen’s Family Business Beer Company – based out of Texas, and Misha’s Random Acts charity to launch a fundraising campaign with an original goal of 50,000. At this time, 162,285 has been raised and the campaign doesn’t end until this Friday.

You can donate alongside the Supernatural fan base at their Crowd Rise link here. In addition, the stars, and other stars from the series have taken to social media to let their followers know how to get involved as well and to support one another while making a big difference.

The scenes out of Texas are absolutely heartbreaking, and it’s a show of who we are as a nation when we set aside our differences and come together to support those in need.

Jensen speaks in this video about where the money goes and what will happen once Random Acts gets it into the hands of the people who need it the most.

Again, their campaign is open until Friday, so if you can donate, please do so and if not – sharing the information is just as beneficial.
