‘Titans’ Finds Its Starfire, Casts ’24: Legacy’ Alum

The Titans cast is beginning to take shape.

DC announced Wednesday that they have found their Starfire for the latest DCTV series being developed. 24: Legacy‘s Anna Diop will be taking on the role of the alien princess also known as Koriand’r. The news comes after it was announced earlier that Tegan Croft would be joining the series as Raven.

Titans‘ Starfire is described as “an alien princess from a warrior planet who seeks asylum on Earth. A no-nonsense, take-no-prisoners stranger on our world, Starfire can shoot energy bolts and fly. Searching for her place on Earth, she’ll come into contact with the Titans.”

Diop’s prior television credits include Fox’s thriller as well as OWN’s GreenleafQuantico, and The Messengers.

Titans will be the first series to make its debut on DC Comics’ own streaming service sometime in 2018. Among those developing the series are Akiva Goldsman, DC Entertainment President and CCO Geoff Johns, and the man responsible for launching the Arrowverse Greg Berlanti.

The series will follow a group of young superheroes in training coming together.

What do you think of the new addition? Any dream casting for the remaining roles?
