Thor’s Hammer ‘Mjolnir’ to be Auctioned Off in Memorabilia Live Auction!
Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor!
Now, Marvel fans, you can prove that you are worthy of the power of Thor – as Mjolnir heads to the auction tables!
Thor makes a great sacrifice to prove himself worthy and that he is able to weild his hammer Mjolnir in the first Thor film, and next month the highest bidder will also have the opportunity to wield the same mythical hammer that Chris Hemsworth held in the films.
Originally reported by Bleeding Cool, the Prop Store Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction (to take place on September 26th in London) will feature the original Mjolnir prop from Thor – in addition to over 300 other auctioned items.
Grab your check books and your wallets- The hammer is expected to bring in between an estimated $25,000 and $40,000.
There is even the possibility that the bid may go above and beyond what is expected, as the item is noted as being highly desirable.
If you feel as though there is no place Mjolnir on your mantle do not worry, there are plenty of other Marvel memorabilia’s to take home with you. Also appearing at the auction will be Star-Lord’s helmet from Guardians of the Galaxy, Ian McKellen’s Magneto helmet and tunic from X-Men and even Christopher Reeve’s Superman flying tunic from Superman IV: The Quest for Peace.
