David Tennant Will Appear in Season 2 of Marvel's 'Jessica Jones'

Season 2 of the Netflix and Marvel series Jessica Jones has some surprises in store for fans.  One of those such surprises was announced today when Entertainment Weekly confirmed that David Tennant will be returning to the series in the second season.

Tennant appeared previously on the series in the role of the mind-controlling villain Kilgrave.  Fans will remember that Tennant first appeared as the villain who tormented Jessica Jones (played by Krysten Ritter) until she miraculously grew immune to his mind-control powers.  In the season finale of the series, Jones ended up killing Kilgrave so, it’s unclear how Tennant and the character could be making a return.

Of course, any further details surrounding Tennant’s return are being kept tightly and securely under wraps until further notice, however, EW released a first look photo from the set of season 2.  Check out the photo below.

The official description of the series is also below.  All season 1 episodes are currently streaming on Netflix.  Jessica Jones is set to return to Netflix in early 2018.

After a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases in New York City.
