Release Date and Royal First Look at Season 2 of ‘The Crown’ Revealed
The moment The Crown fans have been anticipating is here. A trailer and images give us our first look at season 2.
We also know when we get to start watching season 2-December 8th! Not too far away!
Queen Elizabeth (Claire Foy), Prince Phillip, (Matt Smith), and the rest of critically acclaimed cast of The Crown are back in a brand new teaser trailer and images from the second season.
The trailer is narrated by the brittle voice of Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth, who now looks a tad bit older than she did in the first season.
One thing we can still definitely expect is the further dive into the relationship between Lilybet and Phillip, as he is shown overseas tempted by a fleet of hula dancers. In one scene he stands in front of the queen who seems disheartened at the amount of people who haven’t come through for her. He tells her that there are many who have been there for her the whole time, no matter what.
Liz’a response? “If only.”
The tension is taken up a notch this season, it seems!
Take a look!
The Netflix series aired in November of 2016, and since then was nominated for 10 Emmys, and won 2 Golden Globes.
