The Huntress Might Be Returning to ‘Arrow’

There’s a chance a familiar face will be returning to Arrow this season.

It’s been a while since fans have seen Helena Bertinelli aka the Huntress on the CW series. That may change in season six.

In an interview with cbr.com, co-showrunner Marc Guggenheim teased at a possibility of her return and the desire to have her back on the show. “I want to say, ‘Absolutely.’ Jessica De Gouw has expressed an absolute willingness to come back. Jessica’s a favorite actor of mine, and the Huntress is a favorite character of mine. I want to make it happen in Season 6. We’ve got some plans for the later half of the year that I think she will fit into really well, so we’ll see.”

When we last saw Helena back in season two, she was being sent to prison after returning to Star(ling) City on a mission to take out her father. She ultimately doesn’t accomplish her goal as her father gets caught in the crossfire of a shootout between the masked vigilantes and the SCPD. It would be interesting to see what Helena would be like now after being away for so long and seeing what the impetus of her return would be.

It would be interesting to see what Helena would be like now after being away for so long and what she would be up to (besides probably serving time). More importantly, what would bring about her return and what her interactions with the new members of Team Arrow as well as OTA.

What do you think of the possibility of her return? How do you see Helena coming back?
