‘Arrow’ star Stephen Amell responds to Negative Facebook comments for Pride Parade Visit
Arrow star Stephen Amell went to Vancouver’s 39th annual Pride Parade and shared photos of himself and his wife attending the event to his social media.
While it was supposed to be a fun event full of love and equality, Stephen received quite a number of negative comments to his photos. Amell immediately took to Facebook to respond to the negativity:
“Facebook! What’s happening! So I’m scrolling through my page this morning and I was really taken aback by some of the back and forth commentary after I posted two photos from the Pride Parade/Festivities yesterday in Vancouver,” Amell wrote before offering to not just attend the parade, but be part of it should he be in Vancouver for the event next year So for everyone in their negative pants: go be on the wrong side of history on somebody else’s Facebook page.”
Stephen also did a live video, in which he also stated that he did not want intolerant behavior on his page.
Arrow is currently filming, and it will return for its sixth season on Thursday, October 12th at 9PM on the CW.
