Gal Gadot Warms our Hearts with this Sweet Fan Encounter at SDCC
San Diego Comic Con brings fans from around the globe to the sunny state of California to submerge themselves in all things pop-culture. The long weekend brings super fans face to face with their favorite actors and actresses as well as creators and voices in the business.
There are film trailer debuts, television series sneak peeks, panels and special events, but what is more important than that are the experiences you can only make at a convention like SDCC.
When it comes to experiences that last a lifetime, a young Wonder Woman fan got more than she could have imagined when she walked up to see Gal at a signing. The sweet moments between the two were caught on tape at SDCC and the genuine happiness in both of them is something beautiful to see.

Moments like these prove how important it is that actors and actresses take on these roles and do so with not just their talent, but their compassion. When children look at these superhero films or television series’ they see Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Ben Affleck as Batman and Chris Evans as Captain America and Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man.
As children grow into adults, we see things a bit differently, but the underlying message is the same. When a character takes on the role of a superhero and brings parts of themselves to that role, we see them in a brighter light. No, they may not have larger than life powers or fly into distant galaxies and protect other forms of life – but they fight for what’s right, use their platforms for good, and have kindness at the root of who they are.
Gal Gadot, in that moment, realized that to this young girl, she is Wonder Woman, and though the lines were full and the crowds were moving, she gave her the time and the kindness and the attention she deserved.
