Here’s the First Look at ‘Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie’
Be still our nostalgic hearts – Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie has officially been given the green light, and more than that, Nickelodeon premiered a first look at what’s happening behind the scenes with Buzzfeed just days ago. It sounds like it’s going to be an incredible movie, there aren’t big changes coming to the characters we love, and it’ll focus a lot around that map that Arnold had in his special journal (you know, the thing that the entire hour-long season finale focused upon).
By now you’ve figured out that The Jungle Movie will clearly have to do with Arnold’s parents and it’ll take those characters we love to…well, the jungle. Now, one of the first questions we had was whether or not Helga would still be rocking that unibrow and if Arnold would still be wearing the shirt dress – the answer to both of those questions is a solid yes. So fans can rest easy.
The behind the scenes video is about two minutes long and shows some updated looks for the characters, some drawn scenes of the kids traveling, and says (like we said earlier) that the entire movie will be focused around the map.
The movie will debut in November of this year, just in time for the Holidays, and we can’t wait to see it. Hey Arnold! was definitely one of our favorite shows and having a reboot is warming our hearts.
