We’re massive fans of The Exorcist here at Fan Fest and we’ve been waiting for some news on the second season. The series has surpassed expectations set for it – as we all know, sometimes the classics are best left as classics – and become a favorite of horror fans across pop culture.

So far, we know that the series got a new executive producer, Mr. Jason Ensler. The premiere date is set for September 29th and we’ve just seen the news that John Cho has joined the series. Season 2 will see Father Thomas Ortega and Marcus Keane head west to Seattle where John Cho will make his debut as Andrew Kim, a former child psychologist, who now has a home for five at-risk foster children. The house is set on a small private island near Seattle.

The Exorcist is clearly about, well, demons, so the story will see one of Andrew’s kids be the target of a strong and dark force, and driving the second season into its storyline.
