ABC’s ‘Still Star-Crossed’ Moving to Saturday

It might end up being a Shakespearean tragedy for ABC’s Still Star-Crossed. After airing only 3 episodes, the series adaptation of Melinda Taub’s novel of the same name will be moving from its Monday night time slot to Saturdays beginning July 8.

The Shondaland period drama has had diminishing ratings since its premiere despite it airing after The Bachelorette. Posting a 0.5 rating among adults 18-49 and only 2.3 million viewers, the numbers sank, this week to a 0.3 rating.

No news yet on whether the series will officially be canceled but ABC is expected to run the rest of the episodes in order. Looks as though Still Star-Crossed will meet the same fate as the story it is based on, Romeo & Juliet.

After a short break, Still Star-Crossed can be seen on Saturday nights on ABC beginning July 8th.
