Check Out Discovery’s ‘Shark Week’ Line Up

One of the best parts of summer, especially for fans of the ocean and all things that inhabit it, is Discovery’s Shark Week. The network hosts nightly specials that are catered to those who are both captivated and terrified by the sea creatures. From Devil Sharks to Sharks and the City and the highly anticipated Phelps vs Shark – Great Gold vs Great White, the lineup this year looks incredible.

The press release for Shark Week gives short explanations of each of the 18 segments as well as the announcements of more ways than ever to interact with Shark Week on other digital platforms.

This year is Shark Week’s 29th anniversary and they’ve certainly outdone themselves. We’re most excited about the Michael Phelps’ specials as well as Great White Shark Serial Killer Lives – those three programs will definitely have our full attention. However, when does Shark Week not have our full attention?

After the scheduled programming of the evening, Eli Roth will be hosting Shark After Dark – the preview and wrap-up show that happens at the end of each evening during Shark Week. There, you’ll find more information, recaps of the best segments, and looks into what to expect next.
