Happy Birthday Kim Dickens!
AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead cast member, Kim Dickens celebrates her birthday today by turning 52.
Born Kimberly Jan “Kim” Dickens in 1965, in Huntsville, Alabama, the actress made her screen debut in the comedy film Palookaville. She appeared in supporting roles in Voice from the Grave and Two Mothers for Zachary, both were made-for-tv films.
Since then she has gone on to appear in a number of films including, Mercury Rising, Zero Effect, Hollow Man, Committed, Things Behind the Sun, House of Sand and Fog, Thank You for Smoking, Red, and The Blind Side.
Some of her television work includes Lost, Friday Night Lights, 12 Miles of Bad Road, Treme, Sons of Anarchy, House of Cards and Deadwood.
More recently, Dickens has been seen in Gone Girl and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.
She can be currently seen portraying Madison Clark on AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead, a role that she has had since 2015. In 2016, she was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television for her role as Madison Clark.
In 2000, she was nominated for the Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Best Supporting Actress – Science Fiction for Hallow Man and an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead in 2001 for Things Behind the Sun.
