Josh Brolin Brings Back a Familiar Look
An 80’s theme party offers so many awesome opportunities for great costume ideas. The trouble is which one to choose! Josh Brolin recently had this dilemma when he and his wife, Kathryn Brolin, brainstormed costume ideas his for his friend’s 80’s party.
Brolin couldn’t decide between 80’s musician, Boy George, Henry Rollins, or a gremlin. Thankfully his wife knew just what to do. Looking back on his career, she selected the perfect costume which paid tribute to a film that helped launch Brolin’s career, The Goonies. She was able to recreated his workout outfit based on his character Brandon “Brand” Walsh.

He is definitely more buff then his younger self from the 1985 film, which coincidentally just celebrated its 32 year anniversary. Brolin even holds onto the exercise accessory that his younger brother, Mikey (Sean Astin), and friends used against him in the movie. Don’t you think his character, Brand, would be insanely jealous of his current buff figure?
The awesomeness of this getup makes us even more excited for what his characters will look like in his upcoming films Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool 2. They are sure to spawn fantastic costume ideas of their own for future theme parties!
