Tori Spelling Shares Sweet Selfie with Jennie Garth for #NationalBestFriendDay
If we’re being honest, we spent some time on Thursday looking through the #NationalBestFriendDay hashtag on social media. It was awesome to see the stories of friendship in the ways it’s been formed and how lasting relationships can bring out the best in people. Sometimes, when you meet your best friend, a little extra light shines into your own life.
Some of those tweets came from some of our favorite celebrities, and one of them especially warmed our hearts. So, we really liked 90210, and if you asked us about it, we’d be honest and tell you that it’s a series we go back and watch episodes of even now. So when Tori Spelling joined in on National Best Friend Day, well, in our minds – her post was the sweetest.
Tori and Jennie Garth were best friends on the series, and that friendship carried over into real life as well. Some on-screen friends and even romantic partners really can’t stand one another when the cameras stop rolling – they were the total opposite. In fact, they’ve grown stronger as the years have passed. Tori speaks of their bad years, their good years, and how she makes Jennie soft while Jennie gives her strength.
The pair recently spoke about their friendship coming ‘full circle’ as their kids are friends now as well. It just goes to show you that the bonds we form in pop-culture realms are some of the best in the world.
