Cat Grant to Return in Final Two Episodes of Supergirl
Rejoice! On the heels of the announcement that Tyler Hoechlin would reprise his role as the Man of Steel in the season two finale, it has been announced that Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) will return for the finale two episodes of the season. She was last seen in the second episode of season two in which she announced that she is stepping away from CatCo because she felt her life was stalling. Cat needed something different.
I am so happy that she’s coming back (Cat quickly became one of my favorite characters) and has been greatly missed. Cat acted as mentor to Kara throughout all of season one, a role that no one else has been able to fill. It will be interesting to see how Cat reacts to Kara losing the job that she had personally given her. Details of her role in the episodes is a heavily guarded secret.
There has been a ton of news regarding casting in the Arrow-verse this week. Katrina Law is set to reprise her role as Nyssa al Ghul in several episodes of Arrow, while Stephen Amell revealed that Manu Bennett would return as Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke (maybe).
Supergirl is currently on hiatus and returns Monday, April 24 on The CW.
