‘Outsiders’ Season 2 Episode 4 Preview – “How We Hunt”
Warning! POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD! Do not climb any further up this mountain if you are not caught up with season 2 of WGN’s Outsiders!
We’ve got lots to look forward to on this week’s episode of Outsiders. First things first, since the show is airing on Valentine’s Day, we are all looking forward to the romantic reunion of our favorite pair of star-crossed lovers, Hasil and Sally Ann. Last week, Hasil pledged his allegiance to Bren’In G’Win while, down in town, Sally Ann was in dire straits, trying to figure out what to do regarding her unexpected pregnancy. Thank goodness for Phelia and the moth who ensured Sally Ann’s safety and have begun to lead her up the mountain. What’s going to happen when Hasil finds out about baby Sasil?
G’Win has made her decision not to banish Big Foster and this is sure to cause controversy within the group. Hasil has been crystal clear regarding his thoughts on Big Foster’s return. Moregon, from the Kinnah, has sneakily been trying to influence G’Win’s decision and the rest of the Farrell clan is split as to whether or not he should be allowed to stay. While I think her decision will help the Farrells in the long run, it’s going to be a hard sell which is sure to lead to some interesting conflict in the group. Side note: I am TOTALLY routing for a Big Foster redemption scene. I hope he really is a changed man and he gets to prove that to the group.
Li’l Foster may be facing some tough times a head in prison. After his plan to escape was foiled, the guards now have it out for him. His life is in danger and, at this point, his only hope of getting out of there alive is Sheriff Wade Houghton.
Sheriff Houghton is quickly becoming my favorite character in the series. Right now, he is struggling to deal with his sister Ledda’s cancer diagnosis and her announcement that she will not be going for treatment. Additionally, he’s still on a mission, seeking justice for his murdered brother-in-law, Breece. He believes that Li’l Foster isn’t the one who committed the crime and seems to be doing all he can to help free him. With all of that on his shoulders, last week, we saw him almost fall off the wagon in his battle against substance abuse. Can Houghton keep it all together?
In this week’s episode titled How We Hunt, “The animals aren’t the only ones who bleed during the Farrell’s winter hunt.”
