Cards Against Humanity but with Cats!
Have you ever heard of a little game called Cards Against Humanity? It’s a card game that is based off of Apples to Apples, but is a lot more offensive, vugar, and politically incorrect. It is an amazing party game, true story.
Despite criticism, the Cards Against Humanity company doesn’t just get its enjoyment at the expense of others, the company is very philanthropic. Throughout the years, they have held campaigns for the Wikimedia Foundation, scholarships for women’s STEM programs and various other educational programs, Chicago Design Museum, and to Worldbuilders.
So where do the cats come in? I came here to read about cats!
Well because of the success of Cards Against Humanity, a group of designers created an unofficial expansion pack titled Cats Against the Word, to raise money for SOXrescue, a nonprofit shelter in Bakersfield, California. The profits raised from the project support SOXrescue in building a no-kill cat shelter, kitten nursery, and feral rehabilitation center along with the needed equipment to run day to day operations.

100% of the profits raised are going directly to the shelter and the proceeds from one pack can provide food, shelter and medical treatment for one cat for one week.
Their Facebook page suggests that you buy the original Cards Against Humanity first before buying their expansion. So it’s a win-win considering that they aren’t affiliated with Cards Against Humanity in any way.
