If any of you have attended San Diego Comic Con and are like me, you are probably glued to your computers, tablets and/or smartphones waiting for that email or announcement that Pre-Registration badges are going up on sale. Well…here is some news that was tweeted this morning from San Diego Comic Con…they are “diligently working on registration for
#SDCC 2017. Please stay tuned and be sure your MemberID is up to date…”
This usually means that the Pre-Reg sale will occur within the next few weeks. Pre-reg sale is only open to those members that attending SDCC the previous year, meaning you have had to attend Comic Con 2016. During pre-reg sale, you are allowed to purchase up to 3 badges, including your own, given that each member is eligible and has a Member ID. They too must have attended SDCC 2016. Everyone else wanting badges, new and old members, will have to wait until the General Sale later in the year.

For whatever reason, this year badge sales are late that in the previous year. For SDCC 2016, pre-reg sale was in November 2015 and General sale was in February. So for that last 4 months or so, we have all been anxiously waiting on the edge of our seats for CCI’s announcement.
So once again, go to the Member ID link above and log in. First make sure that you are eligible for pre-reg sale. Next, make sure that all your information is up-to-date and correct. Then opt-in to all emails from Comic Con International. Finally, cross your fingers, pray to the Comic Con Gods and wait for that email to arrive.
Soon I will be posting up the whole process it takes to get Comic Con Badges, if you are one of the lucky few or just want to try for the hell of it.
Once I know, You’ll know! I will keep you all informed when sale date and times are about to happen…OMG…my anxiety is kicking in!
