Lucille is Thirsty! Limited Release Beer Inspired by ‘The Walking Dead’ Coming Soon
Lucille is thirsty and so am I! She’s a “vampire bat” and prefers to sink her barbed-wire teeth into a different kind of drink whereas I’d much rather prefer and ice, cold beer. Lucky for me (and all my fellow beer-lovers out there), Terrapin Beer Company is, once again, teaming up with Skybound to produce a limited release beer inspired by The Walking Dead.
The Lucille beer will be released in late February in 500 ml bottles. The label on the bottles is a Lucille-like artistic drawing, mimicking the bat’s wood grain and barbed-wire décor. The beer description is absolutely deadly. And by that I mean it sounds SO good that I’m dying to try it:
“‘Lucille,’ the weapon of choice inside of this bottle, is an imperial stout brewed with blackstrap molasses and vanilla. Swinging for the fences, we aged this beer on hickory, maple and white ash, the three woods that are used to produce baseball bats. Big and menacing, its flavors hit hard.”
Previously, the two companies teamed up to produce The Walking Dead Blood Orange IPA, which was recently re-released in 6-pack cans this year.
