Sarah Jessica Parker Teases ‘Sex and the City 3’ Is Coming Sooner Than You Think
Can you believe it has been six whole years since we last saw Carrie Bradshaw and the rest of her girl squad on the big screen?
And even though it seems we have been bombarded with false movie reunion updates every week, the latest one has us all excited that ‘Sex and the City 3’ might be happening sooner than we think.
In an interview on CBS this Sunday, Sarah Jessica Parker revealed that despite the fact there are no concrete plans to complete the beloved movie trilogy, the idea isn’t forgotten about.
When quizzed about the possible return, Parker said, “It rests in the butler’s pantry. It’s not on the table, but somebody is holding it fairly nearby.”
Fans of the HBO show haven’t given up since it last premiered on the silver screen and at the very least, “fairly nearby” sounds a lot more positive than a ‘no’. It is safe to say that everyone will need to get their Manolos out at the ready.
The question now is, if ‘Sex and the City 3’ is going to happen, what will happen to Carrie and Mr. Big’s relationship?
AmNewYork spoke to Chris Noth in August where he said that “If (‘Sex and the City 3’) was going to happen, it would have been five years ago.”
Maybe no Mr. Big will make room for a new possible love interest for Carrie?
Hopefully we will be reunited with the most fashionable women on the movie screen sooner than later.
