Jemaine Clement Joins ‘Legion’
New York Comic Con’s Legion panel brought a bit more of a glimpse into FX’s first Marvel series.
Along with some perspective on what showrunner Noah Hawley as well as the first half of the pilot, Hawley announced via social media while at the panel that Flight of the Conchords‘ Jemaine Clement will be joining the cast.

Though that was all that was revealed about Clement’s involvement on Legion, Deadline is reporting that his character will be sticking around for a multi-episode arc.
Legion tells the story of Professor Xavier’s son, David Haller (Dan Stevens), who is a mutant that was diagnosed with schizophrenia at a young age. Haller’s story is connected to the X-Men universe. The series also stars Aubrey Plaza, Jean Smart, and Rachel Keller.
Clement’s previous credits include Conchords, The BFG, and more recently HBO’s Divorce.
There is no specific premiere date set for the series on FX, but it will be making its debut sometime in 2017.
