Margot Robbie To Host Premiere Of ‘Saturday Night Live’
Margot Robbie‘s career just keeps on growing.
After the news that Robbie would co-produce the Harley Quinn spin-off movie – which she is also set to star in – it was just announced today that the actress will kick off Saturday Night Live’s premiere weekend as its first host along with musical guest The Weeknd!
Saturday Night Live chose Robbie after asking Twitter users who they would want to see as hosts for the 42nd season. Robbie won’t be the only one joining SNL for the first time this season though. After the departure of Jay Pharoah, Taran Killam, and Jon Rudnitsky, the show has added three new cast members: Mikey Day (who was an SNL writer), Alex Moffat, and the first Hispanic female cast member, Melissa Villaseñor.
The season premiere is scheduled to air October 1st.
