There is no denying the fact that Celine Dion is ridiculously talented and has one of the best voices, possibly of all time. She also happens to be hilarious and game for trying anything when it comes to music.
When Celine stopped by to visit Ellen, Ellen decided she was going to help Celine expand her musical horizons. In order to help her continue to grow as an artist, Ellen challenged the classical/ballad songstress to a rap battle, sort of. Lyrics to popular rap songs would appear on the teleprompter and Celine was being challenge to sing the lyrics, making up a tune on the fly.
Celine’s delivers incredibly poised performances of Nelly’s ‘Hot in Herre’, LMFAO featuring Lil Jon’s ‘Shots’, Britney Spears’ ‘ Work Bitch’, and, finally, Missy Elliott’s ‘Work It’. Celine Dion absolutely crushes each rendition and seems to be having so much fun with the game that she wants to keep going despite being out to time for the segment.
