Grimm’s Sixth Season Will Be Its Last
Sad news Grimmsters: The show’s upcoming season will be its last.
NBC announced earlier today that it has decided to cancel the series after the sixth season. The news comes with little surprise after the cast announced at San Diego Comic Con that season six would possibly be a farewell season, after its episode order was cut to thirteen, down from its original twenty-two episodes.
Grimm focused on Detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli), who discovers that he is a descendant of hunters – who call themselves Grimms – that fight supernatural creatures aka Wesen. NBC teased that the final season “will take the full force of Nick and his allies to bring the peace” following the destruction of Black Claw and Renard’s rise to power as the new mayor-elect of Portland.
Season six of Grimm will premiere January 6th.
