Brie Larson Studies Up In Preparation For Captain Marvel Role

It’s only been a couple of weeks since the San Diego Comic Con announcement that actress Brie Larson would be taking on the role of Carol Danvers, aka. Captain Marvel.

Larson, who is best known for Oscar-winning role in Room, is clearly taking this casting role very seriously.  Today she posted to twitter a photo of herself studying up on the character in the best way possible, by reading Captain Marvel, Vol. 1: Higher, Further, Faster, More written by Kelly Sue Deconnick and illustrated by David Lopez.

The overall reaction from fans on Larson’s casting in the role has been overwhelmingly positive and, with this display of respect and commitment to the role, we have no doubt she will be phenomenal.

The Captain Marvel stand-alone film is scheduled for release in theaters on March 8, 2019.
