Key Hamilton Cast Celebrate Final Performance with Tribute Video
Hamilton creator and stars Lin-Manuel Miranda, Tony winner Leslie Odom Jr., and Tony nominee Phillipa Soo will take the stage one final time Saturday night.
To celebrate this bittersweet night, the official Hamilton Youtube Channel released an emotional tribute to their final performances. The Original Broadway cast of Hamilton.
The video includes clips from the Tony Awards, their trip to the White House, opening night and the famous #Ham4Ham events that drew fans to the outside of the theater every day. The video is set to “The Story of Tonight”, from the show.
Odom posted a photo of his wife while packing up his dressing room Friday morning.
He also tweeted dedicating his final performance to the lives lost in last month’s Orlando nightclub shootings as well as the Dallas police officers who lost their lives this week.

Odom, who played Aaron Burr in the musical also wrote, “The most profound legacy of #HamiltonBway will be that it has set a table for strangers to connect, to have meaningful conversations. #HamiltonBway has been our common ground. I am excited and cautiously optimistic for a real and lasting spiritual awakening amongst us.”
Soo wrote, “Thanks to all for the love and support the past two years. I will cherish Hamilton and everyone the [Richard Rodgers] Theatre. Til next time, folks!” Soo played Alexander Hamilton’s wife Eliza.
Lin-Manuel Miranda posted this photo on his instagram, saying “One more day of this. There are moments that the words don’t reach.”
The musical itself is an underdog success story blending history hip-hop themes and earning a staggering 16 Tony nominations its opening year.
