Nick Carter Talks Dead 7, Spice Girls, and Life As a Dad
We caught up with Nick Carter this weekend at Walker Stalker Con Chicago, where Nick, AJ McLean and Joey Fatone were promoting their new zombie-western film, Dead 7.
He talked to us about how the idea came to him and how he began writing scripts 9 years ago-well after The Backstreet Boys had grown to stardom-because he wanted to act!

Although the boys have toured since they sky rocketed to fame in the 90s, they are gearing up for a big tour this coming year. Throughout the weekend the boys joked that Joey Fatone is now an official Backstreet Boy, so who knows, maybe he will join them on tour. They also claimed that there never actually was a boy band rivalry. Sure, guys!
We asked Nick if there was a possibility that the Spice Girls would be joining them on the upcoming tour, after rumors swirled a few months back. He did not confirm or deny, saying,”I know they are focused on their own reunion tour.” He mentioned he knew Victoria Beckham had expressed disinterest in touring again. There’s hope yet that the two groups could join forces!
He talked about his new beautiful son, and gushed about being a father. Congrats Nick, and also, your hair is on point!
