Grant Gustin Thinks Barry and Kara Are a Good Match

Now that the dust has settle on the season two finale of The Flash, it is time to start speculating what’s to come following Barry’s decision to go back in time and save his mother. According to Carlos Valdez, the third season will be like “waking up in a wonderland.” Barry has changed the course of time and we should expect to see alternate versions of all of our favorite characters. This includes all of the relationships.

And who does Grant Gustin believe Barry could be with? None other than Supergirl.

During the crossover episode with CBS’ Supergirl, I knew that there was going to be real chemistry between Barry and Kara. Gustin and Melissa Benoist appeared together on Glee so they had a prior relationship to doing the show. When the two came together, it was something really fun. They clicked and I agree that they would be a really great match. They are both optimists despite their past and would just work well together.

With crossovers galore on the horizon now that Supergirl has moved to The CW, it is entirely a possibility. The CW has already announced a massive four-part crossover between The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow, but I am sure that there will be mini-crossovers throughout the series, much like we have seen in the past two years between the other properties.

We are in for quite a treat when all four shows return in the fall on CW.
