Olivia Munn revealed to Women’s Health during her covershoot that she undertook an intense fitness and health regime while filming X-Men: The Apocalypse Thursday.
When fans noticed that Munn looked like she had lost weight rapidly, they thought she may have been doing it an unhealthy way, but Munn confirmed that the weight loss was simply due to healthy eating and exercise.
“My intention was to just get as fit and as healthy as I could be, for myself, By the time I was finished [filming], I was 12 pounds less than I started!…It’s a big difference because I started working out every single day, and then I also started getting into eating 20-80, where 80 percent of your diet is fruits and vegetables and 20 percent is whatever.” Munn told Women’s Health.
To play Psylocke in the film, Munn said she overhauled her entire routine and added martial arts and sword training. She started what she called the “80:20 diet” in which you eat mainly fruits and veggies as well. “where 80 percent of your diet is fruits and vegetables and 20 percent is whatever.” Munn explained.
Well, it worked because she looks HOT!
