Kit Harington Spills Jon Snow Spoiler to Avoid Traffic Ticket

Warning: Jon Snow Spoilers Ahead. Turn back now if you wish to continue to know nothing!

GoT Spoilers

Friday night, Kit Harington (Jon Snow on Game of Thrones) stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and discussed how difficult it was to keep Jon Snow’s fate a secret.

Everyone had been trying to figure out if Jon Snow was really dead or, if he would be alive in Season 6. Apple’s Siri got in on the guessing action and, in one instance, Harington was even subjected to the use of an electric shock lie detector test. Though he was supposed to keep the spoiler a secret, Harington revealed that he immediately told his mom and dad, his girlfriend and a few other trusted, inner-circle friends. But that was where the secret stopped, sort of…

Outside of his trusted circle, Harington kept things quiet. He didn’t even discuss Jon Snow’s fate with his cast mates however, there was one member of the general public that was able to get him to spill the beans!

After breaking traffic speeding laws and being pulled over by a cop, Kit Harington found himself in a difficult situation. During his interview with Jimmy Fallon, Harington said, during the traffic stop, the police officer said to him, “There’s two ways we could do this. You can either follow me back to the police station now where I book you in, or you can
tell me whether you live in the next series of Game of Thrones…. I have to tell you, whether I take you into the police station depends on what your answer is.”

So, Harington could say he ‘knows nothing’ and get a carted off to jail or, dish on Snow’s fate and be set free. It seems he didn’t really have a choice. His response, “I looked at him, and went, ‘I’m alive next season.’”

To which the police officer replied, “On your way Lord Commander. Keep the speed down this far south of the Wall.”

Check out the hilarious story in the below clip from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
