‘Justice League’ Casts J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon
Warner Brothers announced today that they have found their Commissioner Gordon.
The film will also star Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck, Jason Mamoa and Amy Adams
Chris Terrio wrote the two part screenplay to be released by Warner Bros. Charles Roven, Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder are producing the film.
This will not be Simmons first superhero themed role as he played publisher J. Jonah Jameson in the Sam Raimi Spider- Man movies.
Simmons has a musical out called La La Land, and voices a character in this weekend’s hit
film Zootopia. He can be seen in The Meddler with Susan Sarandon and Rose Byrne, in April. He also has The Accountant with Ben Affleck, Bastards with Owen Wilson and Ed Helms and The
Snowman with Michael Fassbender coming up.
Justice League: Part One is set to start shooting in mid-April and is slated for release on Nov 17, 2017. Part Two is set to hit theaters on June 14, 2019.
