Supergirl Preview ‘Truth, Justice, and the American Way’

There’s an alien series killer on the loose, as in he is a serial killer that targets aliens. He likes to end their lives by beheading them with a wicked-looking guillotine. Kara confronts the new adversary, but, in the promo, he doesn’t reveal his name, just attacks her with chains.
This is Master Jailer, who in the comics grew up in Smallville with Clark Kent and Lana Lang. His real name is Carl Draper and he always had credit for his actions stollen by Superman, so he turned evil as the Master Jailer. We’ll see if this version of the character has a history with the Man of Steel. If so, maybe that’s why he’s targeting aliens.
Also appearing this week is Siobhan Smythe (portrayed by guest star Italia Ricci), who also goes by the name of Silver Banshee. Entertainment Tonight released a sneak peak of Ricci as Silver Banshee and it is pretty awesome and terrifying. I’m excited to see her in action and find out more about Siobhan. She will show up as Cat’s newest assistant.
