‘The Big Bang Theory’ Recap ‘The Positive Negative Reaction’
OK, so Bernadette is pregnant!! How is she going to tell Howard? Through a cute little scavenger hunt with sticky notes.
Initially Howard takes it well, how long will that last?
Apparently not long. He immediately begins freaking out about nannies and schools and circumcisions…
“Some people say its barbaric but if we don’t it looks like a pig in a blanket!”- Howard.
Howard tells Raj, Sheldon and Leonard the news and all are excited except for Sheldon. He’s worried that having a child will ruin the group.
Bernadette tries to tell Penny and Amy the same news but Leonard beats her to it by texting Penny. They still act happy but Bernadette
is having second thoughts.
“I’m gonna get fat!”- Bernadette.
The boys try to calm Howard down, well Sheldon isn’t helping, and they suggest that they all go out to celebrate.
The girls attempt to do the same for Bernadette but fail since she can’t do anything they offer- no drinks, no sushi, no hot tubs… What else is there to do in Pasadena?
At the bar, the boys are discussing possible invention ideas and Sheldon is drunk. Alcohol apparently has no effect on his knowledge of science or his ability to sometimes be a really good friend.
The girls are talking about how it happened, and reveals that the baby was conceived on Sheldon’s bed!
Sheldon drunk texts Amy saying “Would you like to sing karaoke with us.”- Sheldon (he used a period instead of a question mark, he’s so
wasted!)
Howard takes Bernadette aside to tell her that he is scared but excited.
The gang then proceed to sing baby related songs to Bernadette. It’s all awkward, creepy and patriotic? And gets even more awkward
when Sheldon finds out what happened in his bed.
The next morning Leonard and Penny discuss the possibility of one day having kids. Their conversation wakes up a very hungover Sheldon who has marker drawings on his face.
“On the other hand, we might lack a certain maturity”- Penny while holding up the marker.
