Chaos is a-brewing! Next episode looks intense and I think James March might be battling Sally to lay claim on John. At one point we hear him tell Sally, “He’s not yours!” It’s no secret that Sally is possessive of John and this little (or big?) argument might prove to be a game-changer for Sally’s character.
So, what’s the intent here? Could John be at the center of a previously unrevealed triangle? If so, one wonders what kind of triangle it is. Perhaps the answers, like the identity of the Ten Commandments Killer, lies behind the door of Room 64.
Whatever’s behind that door, it’s interesting that Sally takes it upon herself to show John. For all of her crying and cowering, it shows that she has some knowledge and power in Operation Cortez. And it’s knowledge that she hasn’t been able to share with John, despite their intimate relationship. She’s aware of more than we or John can see, and if we’re afforded the opportunity to understand her vision, perhaps we’ll understand the hotel a bit better.
