Last night, the New England Patriots won their sixth Super Bowl title, defeating the Los Angeles Rams in a pitiful 13-3 game. For the biggest night in sports, everything from the game, to the halftime show performed by Maroon 5, to the commercials seemed to fall a little flat. Of course, no matter what, we can always count on Twitter to bring a smile to our faces. So, in honor of the 16 total points these two teams scored, we’ve rounded up 16 tweets about all things Super Bowl LIII that will hopefully bring you some joy this Monday morning. Enjoy!

The Patriots winning another Super Bowl after Adam Levine took his shirt off is the worst thing to happen to the city of Atlanta in a long time

Maroon 5 is the musical equivalent of a 3-0 halftime score.

wow the highlight of Adam Levine’s performance was definitely that his shirt looked exactly like pillows that an alarming amount of people happen to have from Target #SuperBowl pic.twitter.com/UL8WjdpJaY

I feel like I’m watching an overly enthusiastic and slightly tone deaf spin instructor doing an Adam Levine impersonation right now #SuperBowl

Adam Levine at this moment is contemplating the cold reality that he just got upstaged by Travis Scott’s comet, Big Boi’s fur coat and SpongeBob freakin’ SquarePants. #SuperBowl

It’s just a shame that George R.R. Martin has been hung up for ten years trying to figure out how to make the timelines line up so the Bud Knight could arrive at the tournament

how is bud light currently producing more game of thrones content than george r.r. martin?

I will miss football until its Week 1 again, but everyone at my party agrees that was from beginning to end the worst super bowl anyone remembers. From the buildup to game to commercials to halftime. Entire thing was meh. Entire room of people is never wrong.

1. Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are still the worst people ever
2. Spongebob fans everywhere deserved better
3. I’d rather watch the Puppy Bowl
4. No amount of wings or dip in the world could get back those 3.5 wasted hours #SuperBowl pic.twitter.com/y6O790LGRw

Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
