Get ready because everyone’s favorite science guy is back in action and, this time, he’s ready to take on the world!
In his new Netflix series, Bill Nye Saves the World, Nye will be hosting a variation of a talk show focusing on science and discussing its relationship with politics, pop culture and society in general. The series will touch on topics such as sex, global warming, GMOs, technology and alternative medicine. Nye will be hosting but will also have input from a group of assistant correspondents well as some super awesome celebrities including Rachel Bloom, Zach Braff, Joel McHale, Tim Gunn, Donald Faison, and Wil Wheaton.
The first trailer was released on Wednesday and we could not be more excited for this series! The official description from YouTube says:
Bill Nye – science guy, educator, mechanical engineer, and curator of curiosity – returns with a new show. Each episode of Bill Nye Saves the World tackles a specific topic or concept through lively panel discussions, wide-ranging correspondent reports from a crackerjack team, and Bill’s very special blend of lab procedure and sly personality.
Can we get a little chant going? BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! Bill Nye The Science Guy!! (You sang that last part, didn’t you? We know you did!)
