‘The Walking Dead’ Alum Tyler James Williams Joins Lauren Cohan in the ABC Pilot ‘Whiskey Cavalier’

ABC’s upcoming pilot Whiskey Cavalier has turned into a mini Walking Dead reunion!  It was announced on Monday that Tyler James Williams will be joining his former co-star Lauren Cohan and Scott Foley on the project.

Previously, Williams played Noah on The Walking Dead and is perhaps best known for his lead role on Everybody Hates Chris.  Most recently, he was a series regular on the CBS series, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.

According to Deadline, Williams’ character is named Edgar Standish.  He’s described as “a rogue NSA analyst who hacked the State Department’s mainframe. A jittery genius, he now has enough super-secret information to get him bought off, imprisoned or killed by a dozen governments — if Will (Foley) and Frankie (Cohan) don’t get to him first.”

The pilot will be an hourlong action-dramedy hailing from Bill Lawrence, Dave Hemingson and Warner Bros. TV.  Hemingson will write the script for the pilot with Peter Atencio onboard to direct.

What do you think about Tyler James Williams joining Lauren Cohan in Whiskey Cavalier? Are you excited to see The Walking Dead stars reunite?  Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
