Taissa Farmiga, Ike Barinholtz and More to Star in Episode of CBS All Access ‘The Twilight Zone’

Even more star power is joining the upcoming CBS All Access reboot of the classic series The Twilight Zone.

Announced on Tuesday by Deadline, Taissa Farmiga (The Mule), Ike Barinholtz (The Oath), Rhea Seehorn (Better Call Saul), and Luke Kirby (The Deuce) will all be starring in one episode of the series. Additional details of their involvement (including the episode title and character descriptions) have not yet been released, however, they join a stellar already-announced cast for the upcoming CBS All Access series which includes John Cho, Allison Tolman, Jacoby Tremblay, Steven Yeun, Sanaa Lathan, Adam Scott, and Kumail Nanjiani, along with host and narrator Jordan Peele.

The Twilight Zone is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Simon Kinberg’s Genre Films. Jordan Peele and Simon Kinberg serve as executive producers along with Win Rosenfeld, Audrey Chon, Glen Morgan, Carol Serling, Rick Berg, and Greg Yaitanes.

The original Twilight Zone series first premiered in 1959 and ran through 1964. The series became a worldwide phenomenon due to its out-of-this-world storytelling structure. The series has become a classic in television history bringing to life creepy and interesting tales which are endlessly referenced in today’s modern film and television.

CBS All Access executive Julie McNamara is excited about bringing this classic series to a whole new generation of viewers. She said:

“The original The Twilight Zone bridged science fiction, horror, and fantasy together to explore human nature and provide social commentary in a way that audiences had never seen before. Under the auspices of Jordan Peele, Simon Kinberg, and Marco Ramirez, and with the creative freedom that the CBS All Access platform affords, this is an incredible opportunity to bring today’s audiences a modern reimagining of this iconic series.”
