What I Love Wednesday: ‘Carrie’-d Away By Stephen King!

I guess I've always had an affinity for the abnormal. While other kids favored fairy tales, superheroes and cartoons growing up, I couldn't get enough of Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone and George A. Romero's Tales from the Darkside. I even subscribed to Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine and my first junior high essay featured the master of macabre himself, Edgar Allan Poe. It was clearly just a matter of time before horror icon Stephen King made his way into my life. Why though did I feel such a connection to HIS world of darkness? I contemplated...

A Constant Reader’s Top Five Stephen King Films

I think it was last week where I was floating through the interwebs, like I often do, and discovered that Nerdist had posted a column breaking down the best Stephen King movies of all time. My immediate thought was, "Oooooh what fun" followed by "I'm not going to read that". I know, such conflicting thoughts in such rapid succession. I didn't read the column because I instantly wanted to do that too and didn't want Nerdist to alter my perception of what I think are the best Stephen King movies....
