Watch ‘Star Wars’ Star Mark Hamill Hilariously Try to Sell His Capri Pants on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’

If a Han Solo jacket can be put up to auction for an estimated $1.3 million, then surely Luke Skywalker clothing would have to be worth a pretty penny also, right? That was the logic that Star Wars icon Mark Hamill tried to explain to the studio audience when he stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! last week looking to sell an article of his clothing.

In a truly hilarious skit, Hamill popped in during Kimmel’s monologue toting along with him an awesome “R2-D Bag” bag filled with Star Wars memorabilia of his own. The first item he tried to hock to the audience was a pair of orange capri pants which he claims were worn during several iconic scenes from the films, and he had the pictures to prove it. The retail asking price of Luke Skywalkers pants was set at $100,000.

When no one jumped at the opportunity to buy the not-so-iconic pants, Hamill tried to sweeten the deal by slashing the price in half and throwing in an authentic Chewbacca hairball to boot!

Man, we just love Mark Hamill and his hilarious sense of humor. Check out the fun segment below.

Last month, the newest film in the franchise Star Wars: Episode IX officially announced its casting line up. Surprisingly, Hamill is returning to reprise his Luke Skywalker role. In addition to Hamill, the film also stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Joonas Suotamo, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, and Billie Lourd as well as newcomers Naomi Ackie and Richard E. Grant. Anthony Daniels and Billy Dee Williams will also be returning to reprise their iconic franchise roles along with the late Carrie Fisher as well. Fisher will be incorporated into the film reprising her role as Leia Organa using previously unreleased footage from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Star Wars: Episode IX has just begun filming in London’s Pinewood Studios and is expected to have an anticipated release day in December 2019.
