Shaquille O’Neal Stars in ‘The O’Nealienist’, a Parody of TNT’s ‘The Alienist’
If you’ve been watching TNT’s new hit psychological thriller The Alienist then you are definitely going to want to check out this parody from Inside the NBA.
The folks at Inside the NBA do their part to support other shows on the TNT platform. They had previously promoted The Alienist but Shaquille O’Neal decided to take things one step further.
In the hilarious below video, O’Neal becomes Dr. O’Neal (a parody of Dr. Laszlo Kreizler who is played by Daniel Bruhl on the actual series) in 1896 New York City. He encounters John Moore (Luke Evans) and the two set off to interrogate a possible murder suspect before heading off to dinner at a barbecue chicken establishment nearby.
Things kick up a notch when the video introduces the acting debut of Shakota Fanning, which is basically Shaq dressed in a blonde wig to resemble Dakota Fanning. She plays Sara Howard on the TNT series.
Shaq himself shared the video on his social media pages with the quote, “I came a long way since Kazaam… don’t miss The ONealienist on TNT #SHAKOTAFANNING”
