Netflix’s January Catalog Will Make it Hard to Leave the Couch in 2019
New year, new Netflix catalog. If one of your New Year’s resolutions was to watch more Netflix, you’re in luck because their January catalog is the perfect combination of returning and new projects for all of your binging pleasure! From A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Punisher, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Monty Python, Trolls and Indiana Jones – there’s something for everyone! Here are some standouts that we definitely recommend!
Netflix Original Series
A Series of Unfortunate Events Season 3 – 1/1/19
The third and final season of the popular Neil Patrick Harris series, which will adapt the final four books, will follow the Baudelaire orphans as they try to stop Count Olaf.

The troublesome and dysfunctional gang is back when the Cobie Smulders and Keegan Michael Key series returns and dives further into the six Harvard alums and the complicated relationships they have with each other
Sex Education Season 1 – 1/11/19
Starring Gillian Anderson and Asa Butterfield, Sex Education follows Otis Milburn – an inexperienced, socially awkward high school student who lives with his mother, a sex therapist – who sets up an underground sex therapy clinic at school to deal with their fellow students’ weird and wonderful problems.

Carmen Sandiego Season 1 – 1/18/19
Voiced by Jane the Virgin’s Gina Rodriguez, Carmen Sandiego follows the modern day Robin Hood as she travels the globe, stealing from V.I.L.E. and giving back to its victims. While she is publicly perceived as a criminal by most law enforcement agencies, the animated series will follow her escapades and get to determine not only where but WHO in the world is Carmen Sandiego?

The film tells the story of one girl’s coming of age while examining the dangers of humanity’s current relationship with the planet. Qualley will play Sam Walden, a teenager surviving as one of the last people on an abandoned post-cataclysmic Earth, who is racing to find a cure for her poisoned homeworld before the last shuttle off the planet to the distant human space colony leaves her stranded.
