Get ready to fall in love with ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ on HBO NOW
Wedding season is truly upon us ladies and gents, so what better way to celebrate then curling up with one of last year’s biggest hits, Crazy Rich Asians.
The all-Asian cast, box office smash – based on the book series – that stole everyone’s hearts, is now streaming on HBO NOW, which marks the first time that the beloved film has been made available on a streaming service.
The ground-breaking and critically-acclaimed comedy of 2018 features Rachel Cho, an NYU professor who goes on a whirlwind trip to Singapore to meet her boyfriend’s family. Starring Constance Wu, Henry Golding, Michelle Yeoh, Gemma Chan, Awkwafina, Ken Jeong and Jimmy O. Yang, this box office smash hit is based on Kevin Kwan’s bestselling novel of the same name.
The film, which currently holds a certified fresh Rotten Tomatoes score of 91%, earned over $230 million at the global box office and won the Critics Choice Award for Best Comedy. There’s already two sequels in the works, due to start filming in 2020, based on Kwan’s follow up novels China Rich Girlfriend and Rich People Problems.

Whether you’re watching for love, for laughs, or to get some tips for a wedding of your own (who doesn’t need a golden lake in the middle of their ceremony?) there’s something for everyone in this charming film.
