Colton Haynes and David Ramsey Talk ‘Arrow’ Fan Fest San Jose

Fan Fest San Jose is in full swing at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center December 1st and 2nd, and Arrow cast members David Ramsey and Colton Haynes were there to talk all things Arrow and the upcoming crossover event.

Colton was asked about playing Roy older, and how they actually use prosthetic glue in between wrinkles.

Beth told me about it and she was like we’re gonna make you a lot older. I had someone come up to me and say we love the stomach that they gave you.

Colton jokes that the stomach was not actually prosthetic.

When asked about the crossover, the two had a lot of great info to give. Ramsey says we will learn a bit about Diggle’s future.

With the anticipated crossover happening just next week, the two were sure to disclaim what they are allowed to say,

We have been sworn to so much secrecy, and I’m usually the one to spoil everything.

One fan asked if we are going to see Diggle in the future just yet, and he says not necessarily, but teased something else,

We haven’t seen Diggle in the future yet, but I think you guys are going to got get a nice treat in the crossover. For some information about Diggle. I really cant say anything because I’d be giving a big secret away on Diggle’s future. There’s a big tease about Diggle’s future in the crossover.

The two also shared that we’ll be seeing the Lair in the crossover.

One fan asked Who Wore it Better when it comes to Stephen Amell and Grant Gustin switching suits.

They both wear it well. It’s just a different way they wear it. Grant like high fashion, Stephen’s like body builder. So we have something for everyone.

Ramsey told a story about Stephen’s second to last day in The Flash suit.

The day before the last day, Stephen was looking the way he looks in his flash suit. he sad “David, wait. I just broke in the outfit.” It was just funny watching him walk around in it. With Grant, it was second nature. He picked up the fighting and it was super cool. Oh my God, it was so funny.

They say there are about 4 Arrow suits floating around because of everyone who has worn it.

As far as this week’s episode goes, David says Caity will shine this week.

Katie has a really good episode. She does great work in this episode.

Ramsey and Haynes told fans that they have a holiday party coming up, and that they had a coffee truck and taco truck on set to celebrate the 150th episode of Arrow. They are excited about working with some new people, who they aren’t sure are announced yet, and David Ramsey says he hopes to eventually get back to working with OTA (Original Team Arrow). He also added that Spartan will return.

I miss it. I will be back to OTA (Original Team Arrow) but not for a while. 22 episodes is a long season so. I think the show will ultimately get back to that but there’s a lot of story to tell…getting back to new characters finding out this new Arrow is…”

Arrow airs Sunday nights on The CW. Elseworlds crossover event will start on Sunday the 9th of December with The Flash, then move to Arrow on Monday the 3rd, and conclude with Supergirl on Tuesday the 4th. They all air at 8 PM.
