‘Arrow’ Recap ‘Brotherhood’

“My brother needed me. The green one,” -John Diggle, Arrow   Arrow Season 4 Episode 7 was directed by James Bamford, and the ratings soared even higher this week than they have been. Being Bamford’s first time directing, his work was certainly impressive to say the least. After working on the set for many years, he was finally given the opportunity to debut as a director for the TV series. Mr. Bamford’s work was outstanding. The episode started off at a quick pace, with Team Arrow attempting to disrupt the...

‘iZombie’ Recap ‘Abra Cadaver’

This week’s episode was uninspiring, with very little overall story arc continuity and although the procedural aspect of iZombie’s latest installment was interesting at best I was left feeling fragmented from last week’s illuminated storyline. On “Abra Cadaver” Liv and gang tries to find out who was responsible for an emo magician’s murder, and there’s a twist you didn’t see coming… at least I didn’t see it coming. It was all work and no play for the folks over at iZombie this go around, and I was left with an...

‘Gotham: Rise of the Villains’ Recap ‘A Bitter Pill to Swallow’

Let’s start by saying that I just love the title of this episode, “A Bitter Pill to Swallow” because the title is spot-on to describe the emotional plateau every character has hit. The episode opens on a rainy, cloudy Gotham, where a newsstand owner opens a new stack of the Gotham Gazette, only to remind us that our beloved Mayor Galavan has been arrested. Of course Tabitha Galavan happens to be walking by and wanders into a dingy-looking bar. Here she asks for a “High Smith Royal no ice”, and...

‘Once Upon a Time’ Recap ‘Birth’ and ‘The Bear King’

Double the pleasure, double the fun is usually how you’d feel when you’re treated to two episodes in one night of your favorite show. Alas, “Birth” and “The Bear King” seemed like they were bred from completely different parents. Legit, the two episodes couldn’t be more unrelated (like all the anti-Swan Queen shippers trying to claim Regina and Emma are related meaning they can’t be endgame). Okay, yeah, no… do you know proper science or how DNA works? Let’s start with “Birth”... We’re back in Camelot, and Emma is hardcore...

‘Arrow’ Preview ‘Brotherhood’

Andy Diggle... is alive?? We spent the past three years under the impression that Andy Diggle was dead; murdered by Deadshot. Promotional photos and previews reveal that we couldn’t have been more wrong. Andy is in fact alive, and something says that Andy’s death was not the only thing that Damian Darhk has lied about. Diggle has put his heart and life on the line for Team Arrow, jeopardizing everything to make sure that all of the team members come home safely; showing the true Soldier in him. We can...
