Bruce Campbell Will Host ‘Ripley’s Believe It or Not!’ Series
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! show has named Ash Vs. Evil Dead star Bruce Campbell as host.
The Travel Channel is bringing a Ripley’s Believe It or Not! series to life in 2019 according to the Ripley’s official Twitter account, and they simultaneously announced its host as well.
Bruce Campbell has made a solid place for himself in the horror genre in 1981 when he first played Ashley J. Williams in Evil Dead. The film developed a huge cult following and Evil Dead II followed in 1987.
More recently in 2015, he reprised the role of Ash in Starz series Ash vs. Evil Dead. The series ran until 2018, and many fans were sad to see it go. This news is sure to delight them again, and it’s a perfect fit for the star.

The video announcement included several strange and wonderful accomploshments from all over the globe. It gives an example of the strange wonders fans can expect to see on the series.

Robert Ripley was the first to host a similar version of the show in the 1940s. Versions of it also were rebooted in the ’80s and ’00s.
