Better Call Saul “Bali Ha’i” Review

You guys know the drill, SPOILERS ahead... When is a bright yellow coffee cup not a bright yellow coffee cup? When it's a gigantic metaphor for a shifty lawyer who can't fit in to his new digs. I will say there was something satisfying in seeing this neutered version of Jimmy snap and put a crowbar to that cup holder. Looks like it's safe to assume that Jimmy has reached his boiling point. The new job, the new car, Erin the babysitter, the watered down personality has finally taken its...

Better Call Saul “Bali Ha’i” Preview

https://youtu.be/BVDEpDWqBzQ Thank you everyone for taking a couple of minutes to pull your eyeholes away from the second season of Daredevil to read this. I mean, if I'm being honest, I had to pull mine away to write it. Seriously though, how good has this season been? Ugh! I'm trying to savor it but honestly I'm not sure how long that's going to last. #bingewatchingproblems But let's put the awesomeness of Daredevil aside for a little bit and discuss this weeks episode of Better Call Saul, "Bali Ha'i", which according...

Civil War II Teams Are Picked

With today being the first real day of March Madness it only makes sense that Marvel would finally announce the teams for the upcoming Civil War II event this summer, and man are they kind of surprising. Over on Team Iron Man, which is looking pretty stacked if you ask me, you have Thor, Star Lord, Black Widow, Sam Wilson's Captain America, Black Panther, Daredevil, and Deadpool (more on him soon). Then over on Captain Marvel's team you have Ant-Man, Steve Rogers's Captain America, Vision, Spider-Man (Peter Parker style), Winter...

New X-Mean Apocalypse Trailer and More

Well what an unexpected Saint Patrick's Day treat that was fellow Geeklings! I had no idea that there would be a new X-Men: Apocalypse trailer dropping today so you can imagine my surprise when I went on Facebook and saw it in my feed. As a matter of fact it went a little something like this- (actually it didn't go anything like that I just wanted to use this gif). For those of you who had to do the work thing all day and didn't get a moment to sneak...

The Pull List 3/16/16

Fellow Geeklings!!! Not only is today the best day of the week, #yaynewcomics, but it just so happens to fall on the best obscure holiday ever, National Stone Cold Steve Austin Day (it's 3/16 kids!)!! I'm not sure if this an actual holiday but it should be. So Geeklings, crack open a Steveweiser and give me a "Hell Yeah" as it's time to break down the best books of the week. On a personal level my Pull List is a bit light this week after getting hit pretty hard last...

Better Call Saul Renewed for Season 3

Good news fellow Geeklings! Yesterday AMC announced that everyone's favorite shifty lawyer will be returning for a third season! And there was much rejoicing. I for one expected the show to be renewed but was a little nervous hearing ratings for the premiere were down from last year. AMC, to their credit, knows a good thing when they see it had no problem picking up a third season of the beloved drama. With the show being picked up for a second season before it even aired it's almost like AMC...

Better Call Saul “Rebecca” Review

You know the drill. Full spoilers ahead... Well. That was an excellent hour of television. I've watched enough TV to know that after really excellent episodes, like last weeks "Gloves Off", a viewer can expect the following week to turn things down to simmer a little giving the viewer a week to kind of adjust. Better Call Saul was having none of that as "Rebecca" kept the ball rolling. Now it's easy to start off with what happens in the final scene, and while awesome, I don't want it to...

Better Call Saul “Rebecca” Preview

https://youtu.be/pTRmB- Mmwic After last weeks fantastic, mostly Mike, Better Call Saul, I think this week it's time to shift the focus back on Jimmy. Freshly removed from the chopping block, but sitting on two strikes, Jimmy really needs to keep his nose clean and if this preview is any indication that's going to be difficult. Jimmy is all about results and sometimes has no problem blurring the lines (not as bad as those Walking Dead folks though) of the law in order to obtain them. Although bribing someone in front...

Ms. Marvel Is Going To War

What a day to be a Marvel fan fellow Geeklings! I take it by the this point most of you have seen the Captain America: Civil War trailer, and if you haven't I have to ask why? Do you just hate joy or has all the WiFi in your area been destroyed by joy hating monsters? Please get on that, not for me, but for you. I'll wait. ... ... ... Aaaaaaaand?!?! I know it was amazing (as in Spider-Man! See what I did there?) and you need to watch...

The Pull List 3/9/16

Hello fellow Geeklings and welcome to this weeks edition of The Pull List! Since I've gone all digital with my books (I'm not sure if this is a comic book crime or not but it makes reading them so much easier, and helps with storage. Not to mention I have all these comics at my finger tips. Thank you Comixolo gy!) I get emails every Thursday letting me know which one of my books are coming out the following week. This week just so happened to be a pretty big...
