‘ALPHA’ Depicts An Unbreakable Bond Between Man and Wolf (Trailer)

The trailer for Alpha is here. And I have one thing to say. The dog must live, always!

Alpha is the story of how the very first bond was formed between man and wolf. 20,000 years ago during a bison hunting expedition, a young man finds himself injured and at deaths door. Despite all odds, he struggles against the forces of nature to find his way home. One his quest, he forms a friendship with a wolf.

Check out the official trailer for the film below:

Here is the official synopsis:

An epic adventure set in the last Ice Age. Europe, 20,000 years ago. While on his first hunt with his tribe’s most elite group, a young man is injured and left for dead. Awakening to find himself broken and alone — he must learn to survive and navigate the harsh and unforgiving wilderness. Reluctantly taming a lone wolf abandoned by its pack, the pair learn to rely on each other and become unlikely allies, enduring countless dangers and overwhelming odds in order to find their way home before the deadly winter arrives.

As a dog mom, there is a part of me that knows I just have to see this movie. However, I know that this will probably one of those movies where I cry and cry and cry my way through it – purely out of love for such a beautiful bond.

The Sony Pictures produced film stars Kodi Smit-McPhee, Leonor Varela, and Natassia Malthe, and is written/directed by Albert Hughes.

Will you be seeing Alpha when it hits theaters August 17th?
